A political thug who attempted to snatch a ballot box killed during election at Dekina LGA, Kogi State.
According to reports, the man identified as Ojochenemi Akayaba, aka Akaiba, a graduate of Political Science, attempted to disrupt the election by snatching ballot boxes and he was gunned down by the Nigerian Army.
Human rights lawyer, Chidi Odinkalu shared a video from the scene and wrote: “An attempt by a young man called Akaiba to snatch a Ballot Box has reportedly resulted in a fatality – his fatality – around the KSU Polling unit in under Anyigba Ward, Dekina LGA of Kogi State in NC.”
